It was a bright, crisp October morning at HTS, setting the perfect tone for Grandparents and Grandpals Day. The air was filled with excitement to welcome these extra special guests.
Our Head of School, Ms Helen Pereira-Raso offered a heartfelt welcome to all the grandparents and grandpals, who were then treated to a beautiful breakfast spread. It was a great way to start the day, with delicious food and lively conversation filling the room.
Following the performances, the Lower School students proudly led their grandparents and grandpals on a grand tour of the campus, showing off their classrooms and the many different spaces where they learn and grow.
The day wrapped up with a fun and festive photo booth, complete with autumn-themed decorations like colourful leaves, corn stalks and pumpkins galore. The smiles and laughter shared were the perfect ending to a joyful celebration.
One grandparent shared a touching sentiment, “Seeing all the little ones in their uniforms, with their beautiful faces, gives so much hope for the future.”
What a fantastic day it was to celebrate and honour these cherished family members and friends!
