Mike studied Science at the University of Waterloo and York University and completed his teaching degree at the University of Toronto OISE.

For the past 15 years, he has taught Grades 7 to 12 in private and public schools and counselled students on post-secondary transitions. He loves to swim, bike, run and play chess.
