What an extraordinary day for the HTS community! On November 7, we celebrated our inaugural Hawks Day, a new annual tradition of giving at HTS. This year, our focus was on raising funds to support financial assistance for incredible students, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive at HTS.
Thanks to the incredible support of our community - including parents, past parents, alumni, staff, and friends of the school - we raised over $42,000! This achievement demonstrates the strength and generosity of our HTS family. 
The campus was buzzing with excitement as students arrived for this special day. Our Community Relations and Development Team, along with enthusiastic Student Leaders, transformed the school into a big celebration. Throughout the week leading up to Hawks Day, students had the opportunity to reflect on and share what being a Hawk means to them, reinforcing our sense of community and shared values.
As the day drew to a close, parents and students came together to enjoy games and activities, further strengthening our bonds. For our students, Hawks Day embodied the spirit of belonging and Ubuntu - "I am who I am because of who we all are." This African philosophy perfectly captures the essence of our inclusive and supportive community.
We're particularly grateful to our Board of Governors for their generous support in matching alumni donations, amplifying the impact of every contribution.
