Financial Assistance
Tax Credits
HTS provides tax receipts allowed under Canada Revenue Agency guidelines for Religious Instruction and Child Care. A receipt for religious instruction is issued for each child enrolled in the school, and childcare receipts are automatically issued for students under 16 years of age during the calendar year. Receipts are issued to the person or organization that paid the tuition fees.
Bursaries
To qualify for a bursary, students must meet the admission requirements and families must show evidence of financial need. Bursaries are intended for short-term assistance and up to 50% of the tuition costs.
Scholarships
Scholarships are merit-based and typically awarded to new Grade 9 students. We offer a limited number of scholarships to students who demonstrate excellence and leadership in both academics and co-curricular activities.
Applications for financial assistance are submitted to a third-party assessor (Apple Financial Services) who provides a recommendation. Financial assistance applications are separate from the admissions application and are completed at Apple Financial Services. All bursaries are awarded for the next academic year.
The deadline for new and returning families to apply for Financial Assistance is December 1.
