Treasurer

Brenda Albuquerque-Boutilier is an accountant and chief financial officer of the Law Society of Ontario overseeing finance and facilities management, including capital investment in owned premises. She is also the Treasurer of the Law Society’s subsidiary LiRN Inc, a not-for-profit administering an integrated system of 48 county law libraries across the province and the Secretary-Treasurer of the Law Society’s related charity, the Law Society Foundation.

Throughout her career, Brenda has overseen policy development, business modernization and system implementations, finance and building operations, financial planning and budget development, charity governance, and client faced member services.  Brenda has 33 years  experience in the not-for-profit and charity sectors. In addition to her support of HTS, Brenda volunteers as a Patient Experience Partner at North York General Hospital and a Patient Partner with University Health Network sitting on committees and panels focused on healthcare in the areas of heart and palliative care.

Brenda is the parent of a ‘lifer’, graduate of the HTS class of 2020.
