Tim has 20 years of professional experience within the financial services and investment industry. He is Head of Due Diligence at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Tim’s team is responsible for assessing and monitoring OTPP's external investment advisors to ensure that operational risk within the firm's external fund investments is properly managed, as well as providing advisory services to support the firm's deal implementation.

Tim was formally a VP at Citibank Fund Services and was part of the management team at Citibank Mississauga office. Prior to that, Tim was a VP at Citco Fund Services. He began his career as an Implementation Consultant with SS&C Technologies in New York.

Tim was born and raised in Suzhou, China. He earned Dual Master of Science Degrees in Finance and Accountancy from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and Bachelor of Commerce from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX.
