BA, BEd

Student Success Coach

Robyn Roy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from Queen's University and has a diverse background spanning the Canadian Mental Health Association, where she assisted clients in transitioning from in-patient care. Her passion for human creativity led to her development and teaching of children's art programs. She later earned an Interior Design Degree and managed her own design business for a decade. Her dedication to learning inspired her to pursue a Bachelor of Professional Studies from Niagara University, earning awards for her commitment to student learning and special needs.

Joining the York School in 2010, Robyn, equipped with Special Education and Reading Specialist qualifications and Orton Gillingham training, assisted in restructuring the department, prioritizing efficacy and empowering individuals, especially youth. In 2020, she transitioned to HTS as a Student Success Coach, concentrating on fostering supportive relationships and empowering teachers, learners, and families.

Outside her profession, Robyn enjoys adventures with her children, who are studying on opposite coasts, and values time with family, friends, and her cherished dog, Murphy.
