Veronica received her Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. While pursuing her undergraduate education, she became very involved in research projects in the field of cognitive psychology with a focus in math anxiety. Her interest in learning about how others learn and working with children motivated her to pursue a career in teaching. After completing her Master's in Teaching Degree at the Ontario Institute of Education at the University of Toronto, Veronica received her first teaching position at HTS as a supply teacher. She also worked as a supply teacher in the York Region District School Board at this early stage of her career. Veronica is excited to be a part of the Lower School family at HTS and to continue to learn and grow with her students and colleagues.
