Drama and Media Arts Teacher
After graduating with a BFA (Hons) Theatre Production degree from Ryerson University, Andrew Whitebread immersed himself in the entertainment industry. Working professionally in the theatre, Andrew counted both The Canadian Stage Company and Mirvish Productions as employers before moving into the education sector. Coming from a family of teachers, Andrew merged his passion for theatre with his desire to educate and earned a BEd from The University of Toronto. Andrew joined HTS in 2009 as a Senior School English and Drama teacher and immediately seized the opportunity to direct the school play as well the ISDF production at the Fringe Festival.
Andrew’s many hobbies include golf, football, baseball, theatre, watching films, reading, landscaping and working on his house.
