Gillian has happily spent her career in education immersed in the independent school environment, growing up at Ridley College in St. Catharines, working as a residential faculty, English teacher, and vice-principal at Trafalgar Castle School in Whitby, and as Head of Senior School at Havergal College in Toronto. After several years in school leadership, working primarily to foster and promote student leadership and character education, as well as student support and wellness, Gillian is thrilled to return to the classroom, and share her passion for English with Grade 7 and 8 students at HTS!
Gillian, along with her husband Paul and their three children (Kylie, Zoey and Sawyer), feels very lucky to have been welcomed into this this joyful and supportive school community.
