Integrated Arts Teacher
An honours graduate from the University of Toronto, Irene Dongas completed her Bachelor of Education at OISE with her initial focus being in the intermediate/secondary division with visual arts and history as her main teachable subjects. She later expanded her qualifications to include primary and junior levels so that she could explore developmental progress from a wider scope. A lifelong learner, Irene continues to expand her repertoire and skills in order to meet the needs of an increasingly complex and digital world. Her three nieces inspire her every day and she is wholeheartedly embracing her current role at HTS and thinking like (and about) the adolescent mind! When she isn’t teaching, she is either reading a new book, painting, or experimenting with a new dish in the kitchen. Recommendations and recipes are always welcome!
