Private Music Lesson Coordinator and Primary Music Teacher
Lyndsay Promane (she/her) joined the HTS community in 2017 as the Private Music Lessons Coordinator and Primary Music Teacher. Students of Lyndsay's studio have successfully completed examinations through the Royal Conservatory of Music, the Yamaha School of Music, and the Suzuki School of Music. Graduates of the Private Music Lesson Program (PMLP) have also earned admission to prestigious ensembles including the Upper Canada Chorus among others.
Lyndsay maintains an active profile as an opera singer and is a Dora Mavor Moore-winning artist (Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble, 2023 and 2024). Lyndsay has been a Canadian Opera Company Chorus member since the 2018/2019 season.
Lyndsay previously served on the board of directors and the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) committee for the Ontario Music Educators' Association (OMEA). As a clinician and examiner, Lyndsay has worked with the Toronto Beach Chorale, Toronto Summer Music, the East York Music Festival, and the Renaissance Arts Academy in Los Angeles, California to name a few.
