Assistant Head of Middle School
Marisa Tassone holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in French Linguistics, English and Sociology from the University of Toronto as well as a Bachelor of Education from OISE. Following her passion for learning, Marisa later went back to OISE to complete her Master of Education in the Social Science, Humanities and Social Justice Education department, where she took courses related to philosophy, sociology, race, gender and language.
In 2015, Marisa joined HTS, where she has taught French in the Middle and Senior School. She is now the Assistant Head of Middle School while teaching Middle School French. Marisa enjoys encouraging students to ask tough questions, think critically about the world around them, reach their personal goals and find joy in learning a new language. In her spare time, she has travelled to several different countries around the world and hopes to continue to travel in her spare time.
