Mathematics Teacher
Alana Sardellitti is a dedicated and passionate educator and lifelong learner. She graduated with honours from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Music and a Bachelor of Education with a concentration in Educational Technology. While at Queen’s she enjoyed her time in the Queen’s University Chamber Orchestra, Queen’s Jazz Band, and Queen’s Dance Club.
Alana believes in creating a learning environment that fosters curiosity and sparks creativity in her students. She has taught Mathematics and Music at the high school level in the York Region District School Board and is excited to bring her experiences to HTS. Alana hopes to guide her students on their learning journey and inspire them to reach their full potential and explore their passions.
Alana also believes that learning does not only happen in the classroom and is excited to be a coach for the U16 girls soccer team and the Senior Dance team this year. Outside of teaching, Alana enjoys playing piano, skiing, swimming, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
