Mishka Sawka is a passionate and authentic educator with over twenty years of experience teaching Visual Arts in independent schools. Specializing in Intermediate/Senior levels, she has taught grades 7 through 12, including AP Studio Art, and has held department leadership roles for over a decade.
Mishka is dedicated to fostering a creative and inclusive learning environment where students can shift from product-driven thinking toward experimentation and self-discovery. Beyond her leadership and curriculum expertise, she is an active artist in her own right and is currently obsessed with the tactile world of needle felting.
