Global Studies and Business, Social Science Teacher

 

Sarah graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in history and contemporary studies, accompanied by a minor in religion and culture. She received her Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University with all intermediate and senior secondary qualifications. From a young age, Sarah has had a strong desire for exploration and adventure, which lead her to embark on a lifelong journey of travel, notably to Asia. In Hong Kong, she taught history, geography, social sciences and headed student leadership at Delia School of Canada (international). Her passion for working with youth manifested into her dedication to the student leadership team, guiding her students to develop a global mindset and become agents of change in the world and in their own community. Her time abroad afforded her opportunities to strengthen her belief and involvement in community service, both globally and locally, aiding her evolvement as a teacher and responsible global citizen. Sarah has returned to her home province to join HTS, grateful and thrilled to begin a new educational journey and be a part of our school community.
