Deputy Head of Academics
Tracy has had a myriad of experiences since she first started her professional career in education in 2004. She started teaching in a small Toronto based french immersion school, teaching grades 4 to 8 English and Social Studies. From there, she taught abroad in Istanbul, has worked as a Guidance and University Counsellor, and the Dean of Academic Programs before coming to HTS in the spring of 2013.
Starting at HTS as the first Academic Director, she was honoured to be named Deputy Head starting in the 2019 school year. Other highlights of Tracy’s career include co-leading the CAIS Middle School leadership Camp, creating programming for Future Design School, facilitating Cohort 21 learning experiences, as well as presenting at CAIS National Conferences and CIS provincial conferences on a variety of topics. While Tracy has a long list of why she loves being an educator, she takes immense joy and pride in her ability to coach and mentor other educators, especially in connection to instructional design, assessment and evaluation, and leadership development.
Tracy lives in Toronto with her partner Stefan and dog George.
