Niral V. Merchant is a CPA, CFA and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. He is the principal of
Augmentram Capital Corp., a Toronto-based merchant bank and advisory firm that provides capital and strategic insight to growing businesses. He is also the founder of BridgeMed Health, one of Canada's first virtual-only, psychiatrist-led mental health service providers.
Throughout his career, Niral has served as CFO, corporate secretary and director of publicly listed and privately held companies.. Niral holds an MBA from INSEAD (having been a founding student of the Singapore Campus) and a B.Com. (Hons.) from the University of Toronto.
In addition to chairing the HTS Investment Sub-Committee, Niral has served as a Trustee and Chair of the Audit Committee of the UCC Foundation, and Secretary of the Canada INSEAD
Foundation. He lives by three values: truth, love and compassion.
Niral is the proud parent of two 'lifer' daughters (HTS Classes of 2026 and 2031).
